The James W. Evan Children's Center is open year round and free of charge to children's grades K-6. Hamilton Living Water Ministry, Inc. is designated as an America Reads and Adopt-A-School site through our partnership with Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Many college students, church and community members volunteer each day to provide much needed homework assistance.

  • Academic assistance through homework help, tutoring, literacy initiatives and programs.

  • Programs brought to our children include dance, art, drama, and creative writing.

  • The Summer Recreation Program offers art, dance, music, fitness, swimming, outdoor play, field trips, literacy activities, 4H club, Girl Scouts and life skill programs.

  • Field Trips are available through generous donations of our supporters to various places such as the Cincinnati Zoo, the Newport Aquarium, Cincinnati Reds games and much more.

  • Service Opportunities. The children have several opportunities to give back to their community through activities such as Neighborhood Beautification Projects, helping elderly individuals with yard work, and visiting nursing homes.

Our 8-week is an enjoyable recreational summer program is filled with opportunities to learn and grow in a enjoyable and safe environment. We hope to teach the children basic life skills like sewing, cooking, gardening, anger management, and appreciation of diversity as well as about making healthy lifestyle choices in what they eat and their activity levels.

Through generous church support our children will not do without lunch during the summer. HLWM provides the only lunch available to our area children.
