Children and Teen Programs

The Children and Teen Programs, in honor of  James W. Evan, are open year round and free of charge to children grades K-12. Hamilton Living Water Ministry, Inc. is an America Reads, America Counts and Adopt-A-School site through our partnership with Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Each year hundreds of individuals from churches, college, high school and community members give of their time to provide the extra hands and resources needed to support our children.

  • Academic Assistance through homework help, tutoring, reading lab with progress monitoring, literacy initiatives and enrichment activities. English instruction and additional academic support is also available to children.
  • Enrichment and Prevention Programs are offered to our children throughout the year and may include, fine arts, science, computer lab, soccer club, fitness and other sports, gardening/food and nutrition, mentoring, prevention and awareness and Life Skill and Asset Development activities.
  • Summer Program June 5th – July 27th, Monday – Thursday 12:00 – 4:00 PM offers various enrichment programs like the ones listed above as well as lot of fun hands on activities, guest speakers, Market and Game Day and maybe even a couple of field trips for our teens. Most days we cool off with outdoor water games! Children receive a daily nutritional lunch and snack through the Ohio Department of Education Summer Food Service Program provided by UMC Food.
  • Service Opportunities. The children have several opportunities to give back to their community through activities such as Neighborhood Beautification Projects, partnering with other agencies, helping elderly community members, sending letters to our military, or making a special treat for our four legged friends.

Regardless of if its after school or during the summer months, children of all ages are given the opportunities to learn and grow in an enjoyable and safe environment. All of our programs are designed to provide our children with the resources they need to become successful adults.
